Let's Celebrate

This year, Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week (CPPW) will be held between 20 and 26 November following the theme building stronger communities together. Applications for grants of up to $10,000 are now closed with grant recipients due to be announced in early August.

Last year nineteen groups shared just over $152,000 in grants to help celebrate and communicate the power of partnerships during 2016 Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week.

Each project shined the spotlight on the many diverse ways that community groups are making an impact in their communities, with support from philanthropic partners.

To find out what and how groups celebrated the power of partnerships,  click on the name of the group below.

You don’t need a grant to celebrate

Community groups are encouraged to hold a celebration during the Week, even if they don’t receive a grant. It is an opportunity to share knowledge and best practice and to strengthen or develop new relationships and partnerships. There are a number of tips and resources on the Inspiration page of this website and  you can read some case studies and watch some videos developed by previous grant recipients sharing how they work in partnership to help build inclusive, resilient and vibrant communities.

We would love to know what you plan so please complete our event submission form and we will add it to the 2017 list of events (due to be published later on this year), which will also help inspire others. We have kept the 2016 list of events up so you can see what took place last year and hopefully give you some ideas on how to celebrate #CPPWeek.

If you are using social media, please include the #CPPWeek hashtag and @CPPWeek on twitter to help spread the word of the power of philanthropy working in partnership with communities across Australia. And please make sure that you visit our Facebook page too, to see how this year’s planning is coming along, and the events taking place during #CPPWeek.
